Producing nanocomposite layer by combination of electrospinning and electrospraying technology
Original language description
This paper aims with the combination of electrospinning and electrospraying technology for producing special nanofibrous layers containing polymeric particles. Electrospinning and electrospraying are very similar technology which use high electrostatic field for nanostructure formation. The technology combines two charged hypodermic needles, one for electrospaying and the second for electrospinning. Electrospraying is used for encapsulation of active substances or nanoparticles. A polymeric matrix of polymeric particles ensures safe incorporation of nanoparticles. The polymeric matrix of nanoparticles enables control release of incorporated nanoparticles or active substances under special conditions. Polycaprolactone was used for electrospinning technique. Polyvinylpyrolidone and polycaprolactone for electrospraying. Materials manufactured by this technology are suitable for biological applications.
