CELL ADHESION AND PROLIFERATION ON MODIFIED NANOFIBROUS LAYERS
Original language description
Nanofibrous layers containing nanoparticles were produced by combination of electrospinning and electrospraying technology. Polycaprolactone (PCL) was used for nanofiber production and polyvinylpyrolidone (PVP) for submicron particles formation. Layers were tested in vitro with mouse 3T3 fibroblasts. Biocompatibility of the layers was approved. Fibroblasts adhere on the structure and proliferate during 10 days of cultivation. The unique nanocomposite structure can be used for drug delivery systems in the field of tissue engineering.
