The effect of the pore size and pores distribution on the thermal insulation of fibers and fiber bundles
Original language description
In order to investigate the effect of pore size and pores distribution on the thermal insulation of fibers and fiber bundles, ANSYS was used for evaluating the effective thermal conductivity. And the results showed that hollow fibers have better thermalinsulation than solid fiber; the pore size and pores distribution don?t play significant roles on thermal insulation when the porosity is the same; hollow fiber bundle can improve the thermal insulation remarkably.
