Prediction of hollow fibers effective thermal conductivity
Original language description
In order to select suitable fiber structure and porosity for insulating application, the effective thermal conductivity of hollow fibers is studied by numerical method and compared with prediction from two phase model. The results showed that hollow fibers have lower effective thermal conductivity, and the effective thermal conductivity decreases as the increase of the porosity.
