Preparation of microporous structures based on CMC by freeze dryeing
Original language description
Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) is a notable polymer produced by an reaction of cellulose with chloroacetic acid. CMC is a cellulose derivative, which is sensitive to pH and ionic strength of the solution and also it can easily swells. This study describesa process of preparing of a microporous structure based on CMC. This special structure is prepared by the following production steps: preparation of CMC solution - basic stabilization of CMC - gel formation by sorption of water - freeze drying - final stabilization.
