Original language description
The presented work contributes to the linear textiles? surface structure investigation. The paper does not solve irregularities in the textile formation surface structure, but focuses on problems of hairiness, especially hairiness of non-cylindrical textiles. New method of yarn hairiness investigation like extension of existing non-cylindrical textile formations? diameter evaluation is presented. The results of hairiness of ring spun and compact single and two-ply yarn through two methods are compared and discussed.
