Original language description
Puncture resistance textile composite can be created by using pressure and heat. This method is inappropriate for some textiles due to similar melting temperatures of textile and binding materials. The article deals with the possibility of binding textile layers by using pressure and cold polymer vulcanization to avoid delamination under the stress. Several polymer binders are tested for their properties and suitability to bond the textile layers. The force of delamination of composite layers is measured and compared with other samples. The article discusses the positive and negative influence of polymer binder to textile fibers. The objective is to find the best possible elastic polymer binder for polyethylene fabric avoiding high temperature but ensuring the sufficient strength among all layers of composite.
