Analysis of air and water vapor permeability through warp knitted spacer fabrics
Original language description
In recent years, the studies of achieving clothing comfort are through moisture management of textiles. Moisture management refers to the controlled movement of water vapor and perspiration from the surface of the skin to the atmosphere through the fabric. The clothing should take up the moisture from the skin as well as transmit it to the atmosphere. Physiological comfort is determined by the state of the organism during physical activity, and thermal comfort is determined by the feeling of warmth/coldness and damp/dryness, which depends on the air permeability and capability to absorb and evaporate sweat. Since spacer fabrics are 3-dimensional (3D) textile structures formed of two fabric layers, which are joined together and kept apart by spacer yarns, which are highly breathable. Nowadays lots of research works are carrying out on spacer fabrics for thermo-physiological comfort clothing, but still insufficient literatures are available. So, In this present study Polyester/polypropyl
