Thermal Comfort Properties of Different Car Seat Materials
Original language description
Seat is the one of the main aspects of the car to be considered for definition of the comfort of driving. Heat and mass transfer properties of the material is one of the important parameter of car-seat comfort. In this paper different materials of the car seat parts such as foams and the fabrics are tested for heat and mass transfer properties. For heat transfer measurements Alembeta and C-Therm TCI are used. For the moisture transport Atlas Sweating Hotplate and standard Cup Method (ASTM E 96-66 & ASTMF 2298) are used to see moisture permeability of the materials. Also novel technique is developed to see the mass transfer properties of the compressible materials under different pressures
