    Seat is the one of the main aspects of the car to be considered for definition of the comfort of driving. Heat and mass transfer properties of the material is one of the important parameter of car-seat comfort. This paper studied the effect of different kinds of poly-urethane foam on the transfer of heat and moisture.The heat transfer properties are measured by the instrument TCI and shows the effect of different PU-foam on thermal conductivity. The moisture transfer is measured by the standard cup method. The PU-foam was found to be impermeable for the moisture transfer so different sizes and number of pores were drilled to the foam to see the total effect on moisture transport.
