Experimental Analysis of the Effect of Rib Geometry on Thermal Absorbtivity of Pes Knits
Original language description
Thermal absorptivity of textile fabrics is an important component of their sensorial comfort properties. In the paper, the effect of relative width of ribs on the surface of 100% polyester knitted samples on their thermal absorptivity was determined, using the Alambeta tester. It was found that there is a significant correlation between thermal absorptivity and surface profile of the tested samples.
