Influence of ROTIS structure on sandwich material‘s thermal property for construction application
Original language description
Lightweight and heat-insulating materials still have significant research and market demand. This paper developed and compared the thermal properties of sandwich materials with “ROTIS” and“FLAT” structures. The thermal conductivities of samples with the ROTIS structure are slightly higher than those with the FLAT structure, possibly due to reduced still air and fabric structure differences. By looking at the difference in thermal resistance between sandwich material with the ROTIS structure and the FLAT structure, it can be seen that the ROTIS structure can make the thinner samples more thermally insulated. Therefore, the excellent thermal insulation properties of sandwich materials with the ROTIS structure presented in this article can be used as construction materials where indoor temperatures are required.
