Production of textiles is amongst the oldest industrial sector of world economy and it is instantaneously associated with the development of human society [70]. It impacts developments in many areas, in particular clothing, protection and fashion, but also for technical applications. An important aspect of textiles is the fact that consumption of apparel is directly related to the total population size. In addition, technical textile and fibrous structures are used in composites and in knowledge intensive applications. These include special materials for construction in automobiles and the transportation industry, civil engineering, architecture and building industry, special agro-textiles, geo-textiles and a wide variety of other applications [67].
