Parallel Approach to the Solution of Stationary Reaction-Diffusion Problem

  • Original language description

The paper is devoted to the parallel solution of the two-dimensional stationary reaction-diffusion problem. By the usage of parallel approach to the linear algebra represen-tation we create the parallel algorithm for computing a numerical solution of thetwo-dimensional stationary reaction-diffusion problem. We compare calculation times of computing the approximate solution of the system of (linear) difference equations for different sizes of the system matrix by the numerical conjugate gradient methodon 1, 2, 3, and 4 processors, respectively.
