Parallel Solution of Poisson Equation

distinguish two cases of the problem - one- and two-dimensional ones. By the usage of parallel approach to the linear algebra representation we create the parallel algorithm for computing a numerical solution of the Poisson equation. We compare calculation times of computing the approximate solution of the system of (linear) difference equations for different sizes of the system matrix by the numerical method of steepest descent on eight-processor cluster for 2, 4, and 8 processors, respectively.
