Original language description
The project dealt with SLM technology which is capable to manufacture fully functional metal parts from fine metal powders. The research itself aimed to H13 (DIN 1.2344) tool steel. In the scope of the project, various technological parameters of the print were tested in order to obtain fully dense material. Mechanical testing of the 3D-printed material was carried out in order to verify its behaviour in the final application. Result of the project is an optimal position of the metal part during manufacturing process and subsequent heat treatment.
