    Process parameters in 3D metal printing

  • Original language description

    Additive technology is becoming a full-fledged production technology. For industrial applications, 3D printing of metallic materials is the key. The most widespread technology for 3D printing of metal is DMLS - direct metal laser sintering. In order to fully exploit the potential of this technology, it is necessary to understand the principles of this method of methods and parameters that affect the printing process. These process parameters affect the mechanical properties, surface integrity of the part and its other properties. Correct adjustment of their values will ensure the quality of the component, higher productivity of the printing process and expand the possibilities of application of additive technology in industry. This paper summarizes the findings of research on the individual influence of process parameters and outlines further directions for research and optimization of process parameters to improve part quality and print productivity.
