Methodology for composite/hybrid structures optimalizing by FEM
Original language description
Composite or hybrid composite – metal/foam frames should be designed using closed profiles with high stiffness and low mass. In the methodology, a finite element method was used for design of composite frames, which consist of closed composite profiles. The main approach used solid-shell elements (ANSYS – solid-shell, ABAQUS – continuum shell) for modelling of composite material behaviour. 1. Static stiffness evaluation (using loading by the Standard Earth gravity or specified acceleration in a given direction). 2. Modal analysis for the eigen modes and their frequencies evaluation. 3. Random response analysis for the simulation of the frame response on a random excitation, which was given to the fixation of the frame.
