The paper is focused on the evaluation of 7 HVOF sprayed coatings in terms of their wear behaviour. Three different method to prove their wear resistance to various load conditions. the sliding wear conditions were represented by pin-on-disc wear test (ASTM G-99), the abrasion wear condition by dry sand rubber wheel test (ASTM G-65) and slurry wear test (ASTM G-75).
