    Paper co ntains description of CFD - simulations of the present state - of - art of flame - spray process and experimental validation of these simulations. Design of additional nozzles is presented and their impact on flowfield and flame parameters is studied. Validated C FD model is used for peformance prediction of these nozzles. Several variants are compared and the possibility of improvement of technology parameters is analyzed.
