Original language description
Spraying technology is widely used in various industrial applications, both in highly loaded components and the components with renovated surfaces. Our research is focused on increasing the efficiency of flame spraying technology and on innovating the spraying process. CFD simulations of the flame spray process are important part of this research. A main goal of this contribution is to briefly describe basic characteristic of flame spraying principles, to specify thermodynamical phenomena and to discussvarious possibilities of CFD simulations for spraying process innovation.
