    In Proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Integrity-Reliability-Failure (IRF2025). This paper was created based on an international research project where the main goal was to demonstrate the ability of an innovative bogie design to operate in service with lower track forces and environmental impact in comparison with conventional freight bogie designs. The revolutionary design employs a frame of glass-fibre reinforced plastic (GFRP) and integrates suspension and damping functions within the composite bogie frame. The object of this paper is to describe the investigations during laboratory test using special test bench of the completed half-scale bogie and provide the results from this test for verification of the computed model.
