The Application for Echogenicity Area Measuring in B-MODE Ultrasound Transcranial Images
Original language description
We developed the application for measuring of echogenicity on B-MODE ultrasound images. We use transcranial (TCS) images and the application is based on area measuring inside ROI which has beendetermined by an erudite neurosonologist. The first part of this research is focused on hyperechogenicity measuring of substantia nigra (SN) for parkinsonism and the second part is focused on measurement of different ROI nuclei raphe (NR) to detection of multisystem atrophy and depresses. Due to B-MODE image principle we can prove that this application is usable for different structures which can be displayed by diagnostic ultrasound. Inseparable part of the research is statistical analysis which presents that the developed algorithm can be used for area
