The content of the article follows up the article published the previous year, further it continues to monitor the changes in the border areas, in particular the Czech-Polish one, which have taken place since 1989. The political and economic restructuring of the respective post-socialistic countries and their border areas has contributed to these changes. The analysis of the current situation has been based on the secondary interpretation of the acquired research project data from 2010 ?The social reality in the Czech-Polish border area after the entry to the EU?
