COMMUNICATION WITH PEERS AMONG POLISH AND CZECH YOUTH IN RESEARCH ON SOCIAL RELATIONS

  • Original language description

The aim of the research was to capture the factors that differentiate communication with peers among Polish and Czech youth. The main hypothesis was reduced to the expectation that openness in communication with peers is perceived significantly more positively by Polish youth than by Czech youth who see it as more difficult than the Polish respondents. An ANOVA of the results obtained from research conducted on 132 respondents showed that openness in communication with peers is differentiated by the respondents’ gender, family-of-origin structure, and place of residence. The latter factor also differentiates the difficulty in communication with peers. For openness, a significant interaction was obtained between nationality and place of residence of people in late adolescence.
