Paper deals with theoretical and practical aspects of regional brand development as a part of intercultural marketing. It comes out of global trends of market development and points at its some antipoles given by cultural dissimilarities in customer´s needs which may turn into a chance for small and middle sized companies inthe region. The main attention paid in the theoretical part to the globalization, euromarketing and interkultural marketing like the modern access to the market development inclusiveof opportunity for SMEs. The empirical part is focusing the development of regional brands in the Czech Republic.
