Original language description

The main aim of this article is to follow the analysis of Malley and Moutos (1996), who have tested the assumption that the aggregate unemployment rate is a valuable measure of aggregate income uncertainty, appearing as a decrease in the consumption of durable goods - in their case the motor vehicles. Similar analysis based on the Czech data supports their theory, the increase in registered car production is bound with decreased unemployment rate. Adding more independent variables does't improve the model.
