Knowledge management can be seen as a powerful tool of business support. By means of knowledge management the organizations can improve their cognitive basis of decision support by including existing and also present tacit knowledge in the company. In the academia environment, knowledge management and e-learning represent a substantial tuple for distance form of education. By its virtue, the distance learning is based on the learning over Internet. For this learning method heterogeneous and distributedarchitecture is one of the most prominent features. Its demands can be fulfilled by means of local intelligence using multi-agent systems. In a learning environment different kinds of information resources are shared. This paper presents a multi-agent architecture of e-learning environment including basics of its implementation.
