Original language description
This article describes the current understanding of culture from a marketing perspective. Therefore it provides definitions of culture as well as more thorough cultural approaches. It also presents the most important categories of culture, such as language, religion, education and others. Covered is the most famous cultural research - Hofstede's cultural dimensions. In the last chapter this article describes the possibilities of application of this theory demonstrating the use of Hofstede's cultural dimensions for business decisions.
