The main objectives of economic policy are the traditional targets. These objectives are: to ensure the conditions for a stable and progressive economic development. These aims are balanced economic growth, low unemployment and stable inflation and external balance. In addition to these basic objectives, these objectives can extend the objectives of environmental, social nature, equitable redistribution of income, etc. The definition of regional economic development determines economic growth as a process whose initiatives have lead to investment, job creation and preservation of existing ones, increasing living standards in the region.
