Original language description
The aim of the paper is to present the advantages of using Unified Modeling Language (UML) notation for modeling and planning business activities. Firstly, the reason to choose such a topic is explained in the paper. Then, some important definitions andliterature review is described capturing the problematic of business process modeling. Secondly, an academic management concept named "transformation places" is used. Also, a detailed description of UML language from the view of the whole package of diagrams, their meaning and syntaxes is further introduced. Thirdly, we will apply the concepts for process modeling on the example on standardized trade-company with the exploitation of several UML diagrams. Each of the diagrams is introduced with the explanation of meaning and some advices for improvement. Finally, summarized results in the form of case study are discussed with classical UML modelling approaches. The last two practical sections of the paper will be concluded with a detaile
