The article deals with the case study method developed within the international project INNOCASE. It describes the stages of creating a case study and its benefits to teaching business. The first part of the article describes the project INNOCASE, the next one deals with the concept of intercultural competence, significant for all the students and presents new trends in intercultural communication pedagogy with the focus on case study method. The last part of the article gives a sample of a case study created within the project.
