Paper deals with the experience at the School of Business Administration in Karvina, Czech Republic, with preparation of students for job in hospitality and hotel management. Preparation of students before starting work becomes important factor in competition of educational institutes in the field of hospitality and hotel management. Educational programs try to give graduates more competencies, knowledge and practical skills for deepening of qualification, professionality increase of performance and conduct in accordance with established quality standards. At the same time graduates are prepared for knowledge dissemination and promotion of innovation at practice on the basis of the continuous improvement of educational process.
