Evaluation of the impact of esf projects on unemployment in selected regions
Original language description
Czech regions show significant differentiation in the unemployment rate. It is caused by the emergence of regional disparities, due to attenuation of important sectors in these regions, reducing the population, level of education of local residents. Theregional disparities can be found not only at the level of one state, but also within Member States of the European Union. Reduction of disparities depends on the support provided by the EU Structural Funds (ESF) and also the State Budget (SB). Financesfrom these sources should be preferably allocated in marginal regions. The aim of this paper is to analyze and assess what the impact of ESF funds to reduce unemployment in selected regions. In the first part of the contribution will be made theoreticalresearch and weigh the analytical outputs. Partial aim of this paper is to identify the degree of diversification in terms of labor market indicators and to prove whether the observed period of convergence or divergence of these indicator
