Many significant changes in economic as well as non-economic spheres have recently proven to be a strong stimulus for a number of entrepreneurial subjects to develop new strategies so as to strengthen their positioning not only on domestic but also on foreign markets. The purpose of this paper is to compare internationalization process of Czech manufacturing enterprises and enterprises of services. The companies included in the study are those that have already undertaken internationalization activitiesand are incorporated in the Czech Republic. The processes of internationalization of entrepreneurial activities of Czech companies seem to be highly stochastic as there is no sound evidence of any specific procedures and strategies regularly followed.
