The aim of paper is show how the policy of the European Union influences the integration of immigrants at local level using the example of the Czech Republic. The paper focuses on factors which determinate the integration policy in the specific regional conditions in the Czech Republic.Characteristic feature of immigrant integration in the Czech Republic was missing conceptual approach, especially on local level. Support from the European funds has helped to setting-up regional Centers for the support of the integration of foreigners.
