The International Symposium "Czech Foreign Policy" is, as its name suggests, a conference focusing on various different aspects of the Czech foreign policy from the point of view of different fields. It strives to bring together IIR researchers, specialists, politicians, academics, the public and the media to enable a broad exchange of ideas and experience and present broad public with the newest results of the IIR's research regarding the Czech foreign policy. The main theme of the 9th Symposium was "Responsibility in a Leaderless World". Many notable speakers participated, such as Lubomír Zaorálek, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic; Mark Galeotti, a Senior Researcher at the Institute of International Relations; Sławomir Dębski, the director of the Polish Institute for International Affairs; or Joachim Bitterlich, Professor at ESCP Europe. The event was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
