    The paper deals with engineering design of Lamella Carriage for Lathes. It has been solved as a Diploma Thesis at the Department of Machine Design at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen in 1999/2000. This thesis was assigned from Company ŠKODA Machine Tool Ltd., Pilsen and has been solved with use of methodical procedure. Task of the diploma thesis : Design the lamella carriage for the lathes series SR2 - SR5 with automatic tool clamping into lamellas and with automatic feed of lamellas into preselected position. The engineering design elaborate with use of 3D system CAD.
