The influence of incremental deformation of AHSS on stabilisation of retained austenite
Original language description
This paper describes the influence of incremental deformation on stabilization, morphology and amount of retained austenite in Q-P steel. The experiments were carried out on steel suitable for Q-P (Quenching and Partitioning) process with about 0.4% C and low-alloyed mainly by silicon, manganese and chromium. Several processing strategies were designed applying different amounts of incremental deformations during the second stage of Q-P process. The processing was done by thermo-mechanical simulator toensure the exact control of deformation and temperature parameters. The steel was first austenized at 900-950°C. During the quenching incremental deformation was applied at a temperature interval of 900-820°C. Twenty, forty or sixty deformation steps were carried out with total logarithmic deformation equal to 5, 10.4 or 13.4 respectively. The steel was then further cooled to the temperature of about 200°C and subsequently annealed at different temperatures in the range of 250-350°C. Res
