Original language description
In these days, conventional rolling technology is used to reduce the diameter of round bars. In the industrial rolling mills, which is designed mainly for reduction of diameter and there is no subsequent modules for direct heat treatment of rolled bars. To test new concept of rolling, GMT co. needed to develop and test a new concept of thermo-mechanical processing of various steels with high deformation. This concept has been tested on HDQT-R 30-12 device for incrementa rolling. Different thermo-mechanical treatment with various technological parameters were tested on the supplied rods. Based on the results, a modification and parametric optimization of the new process was carried out, which represents a new steels processing technology with intense deformation currentrly available at GMT.
