Original language description
To develop a new concept of helical rolling rail, GMT needed to develop and test the new calibration of working cassettes for hot rolling of different steels high material removal rate. This device allows rolling of conventional high-heat steel with high removal and integrated heat treatment. This concept has been tested on a device for incremental forming of rods - HDQT-R 30 -12. Supplied bar blanks were processed on the experimental device with a variety of different technological parameters. Based on the results from the first tests, the parameters of the process were optimized. That led to obtaining a new process which represents the new technology of steel processing by the intensive deformation, currently available at GMT.
