Methodology and verification of fatigue properties of a composite part
Original language description
This is a declared output of the project in the form of a technical report (output type "other"), which was created as a summary report describing the basic assembled basic process for verifying basic mechanical (stiffness, stress components, etc.) and dynamic (modal analysis) properties with using detailed numerical simulations based on the principle of the finite element method for a case study in the form of a composite hollow shaft for traction of the train. Thanks to obtaining the most accurate values of these properties, it is possible to compare local defects (primarily in the central composite part) to determine a possible prediction of the current (or remaining) lifetime of the composite part of the shaft.
