Because of high quality of electrical rotating machines, big attention is also paid to very important part - insulating system. At present we can see growing importance of the system, which uses two basic components. The first is porous glass-mica material as a potential barrier and the second is impregnating varnish with very good electroinsulating, thermal and mechanical properties. For production of material is the special equipment required - vacuum pressure system - to ensure perfect homogeneous insulation. This treatise is focused on the choice of suitable components and respects all able incoming aspects. Main parameters have been observed to follow electrical, mechanical and technological factor with respect to environment protection. This system is able to operate in bad conditions as well, that is in high moisture, dynamical stresses and at temperature 200 °C. Modern insulating systems are very good mainly for power units of traction motors highly stressed in practice.
