Speed and torque measurement with the help of piezoelectric and rotary accelerometers
Original language description
The acceleration signal is a very important quantity. Everything else (speed, deflection, distance) should be calculated from it. If we need the fast response of the control system to make changes into the controlled system, the acceleration signal is more useful than speed. This work is focused on contactless accelerometer sensor based on the Ferraris principle and piezoelectric accelerometers as well. In this paper the torque and speed measurements based on these sensors are described. Some experi ment results on the small asynchronous machine are included.
