Seizures represent a common problem in patients admitted to intensive care units and they mean a serious complication if it is not recognized and treated. The goal of this paper is to present an EEG sonification system design, which can provide central nervous system impairment early detection. The work is focused on wavelet transform techniques and its application for real-time sonification parameter calculation. There is an EEG sonification device structure described as well.

Záchvaty představují častý problém u pacientů hospitalizovaných na jednotce intenzivní péče. V případě že zůstávájí neodhaleny a neléčeny znamenají vážnou komplikaci jejich léčby. Cílem tohoto příspěvku je představit návrh sonifikačního systému EEG, který umožňuje včasnou detekci zhoršení stavu centrálního nervového systému. Práce je zaměřena na aplikaci vlnkové transformace pro výpočet sonifikačnéch paramtrů v reálném čase. Dále je zde uveden i návrh struktury vlastního zařízení.
