Insulating systems based on composite materials are ranked among most frequent in the field of power engineering. These materials are usually composed of modified resin, carrier component and filler. The next logical step in this field is the evaluationof nanofillers properties. A modified epoxy resin with POSS nanoparticles was measured in our case. Classical but also structural measurement methods were used for evaluation.
