    Partial discharges measurement is an important method for diagnostics of high voltage insulation systems. Transformer power engineering used this method for detection of imperfections in solid part of insulation. They are usually caused by technology process faultinesses or thermal, electrical and mechanical stress during a transformer running condition. Partial discharge activities are measured especially in windings, coils and bushings. It helps to find out faults of these parts and improves reliability, working life and provide costs save of transformer operation.
