MVD Pump Save 2012 is an expert system developed for qualified design and complex comparison and optimization of pumping systems. Primarily, it is focused on pumping systems in thermal / nuclear power plants and pumping stations. The tool is intended foroptimization of the whole system from hydraulic part including hydraulic system and pump over drive to power supply network. It is able to compare classical flow control methods - bypass, throttling, on-off control and pump variable speed control with hydrodynamic coupling with pump variable speed control with the motor fed by frequency converter. Functions for economical comparison are also included.
