The photovoltaic (PV) power generation has some specifics and optimal utilization of the PV systems requires good knowledge of their performances and their components. The paper presents some results from the long-term study of energy field of differenttypes of the PV panels and systems in real conditions. There is mentioned the problematic of power variability of the PV and wind power plant in relation to their integration into the energy grids.
