Original language description
This paper discusses measurement and calculation of apparent charge as the main evaluation parameter in partial discharge (PD) measurements according to IEC 60270. There is described theoretical calculation of apparent charge. Then practical measuring test was done to verify applicability of this magnitude as main PD evaluation parameter. In conclusion is shown that another PD evaluation factors should be taken into account.
